Buying & Selling - Important Information |
I would like to remind members (buyers in particular) that it is important to complete website transactions in a timely fashion as mentioned in the site rules.
We have had two incidents recently where members have been bidding on slides they simply cannot afford to purchase. This is irresponsible and causes a lot of extra administration for the seller of the slides and the site webmaster.
Further incidents of this nature will result in account suspension until the situation is resolved. To reinstate membership will incur a 20 Euro account re-instatement fee and the buyer will be required to cover the sellers lost commission charges via repayment to the webmaster so funds can be returned to the seller.
The simple advise here is, complete transactions in a timely fashion and do NOT bid on slides for which you do not have means to pay for.
Can I also remind sellers that commission payments are due when your account credit limit is exceeded within a reasonable timescale. There are a significant number of sellers who are not settling accounts until 2-3 times their credit limits and even more. If you would like a higher limit then please contact the webmaster and this will be reviewed.
To those members (and there are many of you) who have been using the site this year and buying/selling in the normal fashion, I thank you. I hope also that the removal of the new slide listing fees has helped sellers with their costs and that some of the new features including the Invoice function have offered considerable time savings. |
